PLAYLAND

The screams that rang through my ears sounded terrifying. The piercing noise sounded like something out of a horror film. They were, in fact, screams of excitement that ripped from Kayden's lungs at steady intervals. He was surrounded by over a dozen children playing, and their own excitement seeped through him, creating an excitement that was all his own.

It was Kayden's first time at McDonald's, and he was in awe. The children running through the Playland consumed him. He could not tear his eyes away. Not even for the french fry that his Daddy replaced his apple dipper with, when he thought I was not looking. There were children running in every direction, and he was fascinated.

He had a blast, and it was such a joy to watch him learn and explore.

Happy Sunday!

  2. Those beautiful brown eyes!!! He's gonna be a heart melter one day! I can see it now, he's going to be a very popular guy in school! After all PCOS infertility treatments are underway (I gave myself an HCG hormone injection this morning) I take the first prego test in 2 weeks from today! I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I'm still hoping to lose 8 more lbs before getting pregnant so I can say 60lbs is lost...we'll see tho. Crossing fingers that the pregnancy sticks without having to go thru more infertility treatments, but it's not in my hands. Keep your fingers crossed, so I can post beautiful pics of our baby on my blog too! xoxoxo

  3. Jessica, I was just swept back looking at this beautiful photo. He looks so much like Jake at that age I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference in them. He is beautiful! You too Jake! So sorry to have missed you at the reunion. It won't happen again! Aunt Katherine
